When I heard my friend Jacqui Saldana was coming out with cooking kits for children, I was more than ecstatic. But mostly, I was proud. These kits are going to be delightful mail for kids everywhere; they will encourage families to gather in the kitchen and simply create. November's kit (a recipe for healthful fruit roll-ups) is about to head out the door to all of its tiny recipients. I've already tested the recipe and I may have made more than one batch (or several). It's irresistible in all the best senses.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to non-profit organizations that focus on the well-being of children. Thank you, Jacqui, for everything that you do. This is definitely going to be a memorable activity in the home.
