Zooey Magazine collaborates with Lilla Barn

With much excitement, I present to you our exclusive collaboration with Lilla Barn. Bergen from Lilla Barn has kindly joined me in making two dresses that you can't find anywhere else, and it's all handmade with love. The first is the Maisie, a sweet and sleeveless a-line dress that is filled with micro gold metallic dots. The second is the Jane, a longer sleeved (but perfectly lightweight) dress that will make transitioning into fall all that much easier.

And if you happen to wonder where the names of the dresses came from, it should not come as a surprise that they derived from a few of my favorite books ("What Maisie Knew" by Henry James and "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte). I'm a bookworm, I know.

I hope you come to love the dresses as much as I do. I love its simplicity and versatility. You really can't go wrong with these two. Plus, they're a labor of love that I'm sure will be a family heirloom among the littles in your lives.

If you do purchase a dress, be sure to share your photos by using the hashtag #ZooeyXLillaBarn. You can also find Lilla Barn here: Instagram + Facebook

Introducing a Zooey exclusive playsuit

In collaboration with Czarina's Project, Zooey Magazine presents an exclusive "Little Dot Playsuit" for girls (newborn to 24 months). This cream-colored piece makes our heart sing and our little minimalistic babies happy. Our favorite part about this playsuit is the gold metallic micro-dots. It's just too darling, and we are thrilled to be able to share this with you all.

You can get this playsuit now in our web shop

Zooey's Annual Holiday Cards

Every year, our office sends out custom holiday cards; 2014 marks our 5th batch. We are reminded of the season when it is time to print tangible greetings, and nothing makes us happier than a late night spent signing each card off. This year has been filled with wonderful memories and therefore, we knew what would epitomize our year in one frame: a photo of sweet Kai who was photographed (by Jessica Castro) for Issue 21. Our child-like joy cannot simply be encapsulated in just one letter, but we think this says a lot already.
