We usually don't start our days at a hardware store, but when it comes to spending a day with one of our true favorites Claire Coffee (NBC's "Grimm," which airs its new season on October 24th at 9/8c), the Hippo Hardware in Portland is a must morning-stop. She's working on some DIY projects for her home and we tagged along for the ride. Turns out, she has a knack for turning old things into home treasures, which means she lives quite the beautiful life and we loved documenting just a snippet of it.
